Post-op report

After our Fun Friday moment with cousins, Bri and I headed down to Primary Children's Hospital for her follow up from her surgery. We found out that there was actually some pathology showing mild chronic inflamation of the gallbladder and there was a slight blockage in her appendix which could have caused appendicitis in the future. We are so grateful for the decision we made to have her surgery. We feel like prayers have been answered and that doctors and opportunities were place in our path to help our daughter when she needed it the most.

She has been doing really well. Her incisions healed quickly and she has not had the same pains that she was having before. She has had a few stomach aches, but they are different and are attributed to her learning what her body can handle and what it can't without a gallbladder.

She feels so much better and will even do a "happy dance" when prompted by her persistent mother! :)

While we were in Salt Lake we made a few stops at some of my favorite places. We went to the Garden Park Wardhouse in Sugarhouse. I used to work for the LDS Church in Facilities Maintenance and it is one of the buildings that my group took care of. It is an amazing place. If you ever get the chance to visit there it is located at 1150 East Yale Ave, just off of 13th east in Salt Lake City.
