It is becoming a pattern

Whenever we get any money at all something breaks. It is usually my car. Today JT and I spent most of the afternoon doing our taxes. We got done and did an efile for our return. Just as we were finished Bri tried to open the garage door and it wouldn't open. Sure enough, after having a repair guy come over (do they ALL have to have plumber's crack?) and needing to replace a broken spring, we are now $239 poorer! But at least we will have some refund money to pay off a few bills...that feels great...until my car breaks on Monday...

We are the same way. We think it is the tithing blessing....we get the money BEFORE we need it. We have learned that we DO NOT spend any extra we get because it will be needed in about 72 hours!

SO sorry about the garage door - the same thing happened to me one morning as I was trying to get my car OUT of the garage to take the kids to school! I called a few different places in the yellow pages and got some estimates. I saved about 75.00 by calling around! Good luck and I'll cross my fingers for you Monday morning and pray that your car doesn't fall apart!

Just live in a refrigerator box then when it breaks you can get another house for free.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that stuff like that happens too. Not that I am glad that it happened to you -- you know what I mean.
p.s. I love Erasure!

No kidding!!!! We had the exact same thing happen with our tax return -- only it wasn't the garage door, it was two cars and medical bills. :) Thank heaven for tax returns or where would we be??? :)
