MIA

I feel like I may have forgotten how to blog. This is not a good thing since it is one of my favorite things to do! Life has been hectic and I keep waiting for things to settle down and they don't, so I am going to just have to figure out how to deal with my full schedule.

Work is going great. I have had some frustration for the last few weeks because when I started this job was not told about the training in time and I missed it. because of that, I was not informed that the 1st and 2nd grades don't have students pulled out of class to participate in SEM. I was going off of incorrect information and set up my entire schedule to include the 1st and 2nd grades, I even got lists of students from the teachers. THEN...I had to go back to those teachers and tell them the news. Anyway, long story short...I now have things worked out and started doing pull-outs this past week with the upper grades. It has been a lot of fun and the students really seem interested in the topics that I have chosen for them to study.

I also got to sub for one of the kindergarten teachers last week! Her daughter was ill and she needed to go home and care for her. I had a lot of fun. The kids were super cute and we had a fun time, but I don't think I could do that all day every day...KUDOS TO TEACHERS!

I hope to get my schedule ironed out so that I can accomplish all the things that I NEED to do and also all of the things that I WANT to do...like blogging! :) (Right now there is a room full on laundry that I usually have finished on Monday, some is wrinkled in the dryer, some wet in the washer, and the rest is still dirty...)

well it's about time! Sorry your schedule is so busy, but if you have put blogging above R.S. stuff, at least you have your priorities straight. Laundry can wait, just go buy new clothes. Hmmm, what other words of wisdom do I have...oh, I know, sleep less, you can get lots done in the middle of the night and who needs sleep anyway. Maybe Yeager can do the laundry, he is home all day. Maybe you could start a new grunge trend by wearing your wrinkly clothes. Mom likes me best!

Ah, who needs clean clothes anyway. You can wear special underwear for a week at a time right? Isn't that what makes it special? Maybe it's time to teach Bri about the joys of wash.

I could never be a teacher. Especially not a kindergarten teacher.

Sorry to hear about your busy schedule. It seems like I am constantly trying to figure out how to fit more hours into my day - so if you figure it out - blog about it so I can try it too! Have a good week!
