1. JT has been out of town all week for work. He had to go to Hollywood for a National Sales Meeting for his job. He left last Sunday and got back on Thursday night. It is always hard having him gone, but Bri and I had some good "girl time" this week.
2. Last Sunday after taking JT to the airport, Bri and I drove to Heber and had a nice visit with my Aunt Ruth. She is my mother's sister and I have not been up to see her for several years. It was nice to see her.
3. I finished four book purses and a bunch of bows and took them over to the little boutique where I am selling my crafts. If you live in the area, you should check out their cute shop: http://co-opchicks.com/ and If you are interested in any of my purses, don't buy them there, I can give you a better deal if you come to me directly. OK...plug over... :)
4. Bri invited a bunch of her friends over and had a party on Friday night. They had a fun time.
5. I can't think of a 5th thing. I wonder why I feel like I have to have five...

It doesn't look like much...yet
Tonight we drove up to the construction site for the Brigham City Temple. It was a nice drive and fun to see the beginnings of a beautiful temple.
Look what Lexie Lou can do!
My niece Alex painted this picture for Bri. It is not just any Boston Terrier, it is from a photo she took of Yeager! This girl has talent! (And beautiful straight teeth, she recently got her braces off)

Weekly wanderings #4/2011
Kind of an uninteresting week. Not too much going on.
1. Bri and I had Monday and Tuesday off and we enjoyed hanging out and scrapping. I don't get too much scrapping done lately, but I did spend my time scanning old negatives.
2. Tuesday evening a friend of mine at work lost her son in an accident. It is hard to imagine the difficulty this family is dealing with. I have her other son in my SEM classes and on the student council.
3. We have become hooked on the TV series "24". Netflix streams it to our television and we have watched 7 of the 8 seasons since last fall. This week we were ready to watch season 8 and it is not on Netflix instant play, so we broke down and rented the first disk from Blockbuster. Such a shame.
4. Bri started her new semester at school. She is enjoying her classes.
5.JT has been very busy with work this week, again.

Weekly wanderings #3/2011
1. The science fair is DONE! It was on Wednesday and went really well (see previous post). Glad to be done with the hard part, now we just have the district science fair, but I don't have to do as much for that.
2. Bri finished up her first semester of Junior High. She is glad to be done with a few classes, and ready and excited for her new classes to start.
3. JT has been working really hard with work, and it isn't going to ease up anytime soon. He has a new contract that is causing a lot more work, but we are grateful for the employment and security that his job gives us at this time.
4. Because of the extra hours I put in at work the first few days of the week preparing for the science fair, I was able to take Friday off. I have been wanting to rearrange our closet and finally got the chance to get it done. (Now Bri wants me to clean out hers. I told her that I would if she didn't immediately cram junk into every clean space when I was done!)
5. JT and I are Ward Missionaries. It has been just the two of us and one other young man who is preparing to go on his mission. This last week he got his mission call and just today we found out that a great couple in our neighborhood are joining us as Ward Missionaries. It will be nice to have another couple to work with.

Science fair...DONE!
At work I am in charge of the Science Fair. It has been something that I have put a lot of time and effort into and last year there were some issues that I wanted to not deal with this year. Mainly I didn't have enough judges and it made us take too much time for each class and we were completely off schedule (45 minutes per class instead of the scheduled 20 minutes). I was able to arrange for 23 judges (last year we had 12). This made things move very smoothly and we were right on with our 20 minutes per class. Yea!
I am very happy with the way things turned out and I was even able to roll up all the papers on the floor to re-use, that will save me about 3 hours next year.
Bri came over after school and was a huge help in finishing my calculations and taking down the projects. Thanks Breezy!

Weekly wanderings #2/2011
1. Spent much of my time at work getting ready for the school Science Fair. I am in charge of this and it stresses me out. The big event is on Wednesday, then I can exhale.
2. Yeager had a good checkup at the vet. He gets so excited, you would think he had been invited to a super fun party...where they give him vaccinations!
3. JT has been busy with work...this is his crazy time of year!
4. Bri has been glued to the new piano. It warms the cockles of my heart.
5. Finally got the Christmas decorations down...finally...

Weekly Wanderings #1/2011
If I have a set post to keep track of all of our wanderings...I think I will blog more regularly. Here we go!
1. Slept in far too long every day, but enjoyed a fun Christmas break with JT and Bri.
2. Played our new game "Funglish", it really is FUN!
3. Have completely stayed out of the cold for over two weeks, my body is going to go into shock tomorrow during recess.
4. After getting a new piano for Christmas, I am discovering that I remember more than I thought I did, and I am really enjoying it!
5. I am grateful for my friends and family, those people who I can truly count on to support me and stand by my side...no matter what!
